No animals, humans or other creatures were
injured, killed or harmed in the creation of this
game. Well, if you don't count a headache or two.

* 01. Setting up Horrorween
*********************************************
In the supplied package you'll find a config
tool called ConfigHorror which contains a few
more or less useful setup options.
They'll mostly have to do with either graphics,
speed or both, and of course sound ;-)
(see speed issues below)
*********************************************
* 02. Gameplay
*********************************************
The plot of the game is pretty simple, stay
alive. You'll start out with one level and
gamemode, which is the Arcade. If you don't
die too fast, you'll unlock the next features.
Of course we can't tell you everything ;-)
*********************************************
* 03. Controls
*********************************************
That's another simple concept, use the
arrow-keys to move your man on the screen.
Use the mouse to aim and fire with the left
mouse button.
The other buttons/keys which are nice to know
about are as follows:
Right Mouse button: Cycle through weapons
Space bar : Pause game (need a break?)
Suicide : Escape (got enough?)
Emergency Exit : Alt+F4 (boss around?)
*********************************************
* 04. Highscore
*********************************************
If you've had a sneak-peak in the config-tool
already (of course you have) you've seen that
we've set up an Internet Highscore option. This
means that you'll download the 10 best scores
on the level you're playing to see if you're
amongst the finest slaughters on the net.
Remember, even if you enable it, it might still
not work due to timeouts, firewalls, unplugged
cables (*grin*) and so on.
You'll always have your own little local
highscore-list anyways.
*********************************************
* 05. Speed issues
*********************************************
The game may appear slow on your computer, and
instead of using the always funny "It's time
to upgrade your system again, Luke!" you can
try removing the Mist and Smoothing option on
the config-tool, which are things that makes
the game look abit cooler but not game
dependant. Also change the resolution and
graphics rendering to see if it makes a
difference.
*********************************************
* 06. Troubleshooting/FAQ/Support
*********************************************
From our helpdesk I can hear the following
phrases being shouted over and over again:
"Reboot!"
"Have you checked your cable?"
I don't think we have any Frequently Asked
Questions or Answered Questions yet, but we'll
let you know if something appears.
If the game crashes, please try to turn of the sound
before anything else. Sound drivers can make more
problems than any of our creatures can.
Other problems? Check out the website:

We've put them in a seperate file, credits.txt
